Good to be back for a hot second.
The reason why I left all the group previously, if some of you actually remember/ know me, was SOLELY because of the use the word “Qur’anist”.
Today I checked my email, and lo and behold, a Qur’an Only Group was formed! I had a mixed reaction due to the title.

Now, I am amazed at the growth of the type of believers, and inshallah Allah will continue to guide us to the Qur’an.
Here is my question. WHAT is the basis for the use of the word Qur’anist? I have thought of it all, debated, pondered, sought guidance in the Qur’an, and my own person interpretation is that the name is another example of a sectarian ideal imposed on a perfect Deen in Islam.
I want the best arguments on why the name exist and for whom, for what cause, and in what context.
I know their are folks that agree with my belief, but I want to be shown why I am wrong.

Invite to God with Wisdom and Kindness:

3:159 It was a mercy from God that you were soft towards them; had
you been harsh and hard-hearted, they would have dispersed
from you; so pardon them and ask forgiveness for them, and
consult them in the matter; but when you are convinced, then
put your trust in God; for God loves those who put their trust.
16:125-28 Invite to the path of your Lord with wisdom and good advice, and
argue with them in that which is better. Your Lord is fully aware
of who is misguided from His path, and He is fully aware of the
guided ones. And if you punish, then punish with equivalence to that which
you were punished. And if you are patient then it is better for the
patient ones. And be patient, for your patience is on none except God. And
do not grieve for them, and do not be depressed by what they
scheme. God is with those who are aware and are good doers.
Just to clarify. I never deleted a single comment, however I myself have lost long and important comments to some comment eating fairy. LOL.
As for your comment, I took it in stride. If I feel that I am going to do something wrong then I will stop. Until now though, my way has been quite patient and fine.
As for a response, and not an excuse, I have been fasting, traveling, very busy with life and work, and honestly I forgot. Not to mention that there was nothing that I felt I needed to respond to.
overall, for some reason it is really bad to respond here and with the responses I give on Facebook and YouTube, I get drained with a lot of commenting.

As for the subject you put on, which is a very interesting one.
God clearly says in the Quran, do not divide yourself into sects.
That’s why I don’t like the words Quranists, 19ers, shia, sunni, suffi etc.
They only divide. Some divide by the belief and traditions and some by the word and number. I don’t get why people spend their time worshipping a sect or a number to prove, that the Quran is real and that we should divide ourself, when it’s clear that we shouldn’t.
I guess God has it’s way to divide the believers from the disbelievers.
I myself usually, when I am asked, say that I am an muslim, that don’t follow conjucture and traditions. I don’t believe on sheiksh or scholars or whatever they call themselves say or read or follow.
I follow what God has sent down into the Quran and the peacefulness that is in it. I am a muslim.

Firstly thank you for your time man, cause I know how it can get draining, with work and other stuff. I myself am not on twitter or youtube or facebook so when I found your blog, It was my only way to get connected with you, cause I felt we share the same understanding and before seeing your videos I thought I was alone with my understanding of the deen. belief. Secondly, no problem mate, I just was curious.
The funny thing is, it isn’t a long time ago, that my first video, that I saw from you was, “Quran only muslims, you’re not alone”, and at that moment I was asking for guidance and suddenly I bumped into your videos and particulary into that video.
Since then it has been nice to view your opinions, even though some differ and some not, but it’s great to listen to you. The main understanding we have the same. God willing.

I know it doesn’t sound the most important thing that we should do, but as you know, everything that comes from the Quran is important.
It was a thing that “bothered” me, cause good language and behaviour is important, though we’re only humans and make mistakes, but I just felt saying it to you. Nothing more.
Anyway, I hope God willing, you sometimes come and check the comments here, but this was the main point I have been willing to say to you and also I got my second anwer I have been willing to ask you about the 19ers, but now I know your stand, and we’re now even more the same. God willing.
