Oh, hello there. Thanks for stopping by and catching up. Is it Monday again? Holy Heck! Well, we are alive and well, inshallah (god-willing)!
Weekend Round-UP
Friday Night – 3-15-2013
Without going home to change, I went to get a hair cut, then went to a party bus for a friend’s Birthday. I don’t mind party buses, but to tell you the truth I would have rather sat at home and read a book.
Saturday – 3-16-2013
I can hardly remember the day, but I can tell you what I did do. Wait, now I remember.
I had a football scrimmage at 11 am, and it lasted until about 1:30 PM (1300). After that we (football dudes [Amos, Chris, and Mark]) went to TJ Stones and had lunch. I found out that Mark is a Landscape designer, and since I am in need of some house support, I got him to agree!
That day I sat around and took a nap until about 6:30, showered and went to my Marine buddy’s house where we watched the UFC fight. Man, I really missed those guys and enjoyed hanging with them.
Sunday – 3-17-2013
Woke up at 11 am, made breakfast, watched TV. Sat around all day, had Tacos for dinner (Gluten free day), and Watched “Red Dawn [2012]“. I think that is a great movie and a good example of insurgencies and their effectiveness.
Teddy’s Wonderful little side note:
The tactics and reasons for the tactics in the movie Red Dawn should wake people in the United States up for two reasons.
1) It shows what the “Terrorists” in other countries are doing and why they are doing it. WE are the invading forces telling THEM what they have to do to be BETTER, when in fact they don’t need us or want us in their backyards. For us to label THEM “Terrorist” is claiming superiority over them in every essence of their lives, while denying them the rights as humans to do as they please in their environment. Instead of being virtuous people that promote virtue, WE are actually the KILLERS of virtue and ARE hypocrites. WE are the reason for the Terrorist existence. No”Terrorist”/ “Freedom Fighter” exist without a person to terrorize with a reason or a group of people taking away their God given rights.
“One man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter” first written by Gerald Seymour in his 1975 book Harry’s Game
That is my opinion.
2) If we were to get invaded how would we act? Like little bitches that don’t know how to fight and defend ourselves. This is Precisely why we have guns in the United States. It is to prevent ANYBODY from stealing away the rights and liberty of each and every individual. Guns protect the people from others, from Governments, and from invaders. In the movie only a few people were ready to fight. The majority of people were cowards that allow the small amount of people with small fire power the ability to take them over. In all, people must realize that if you claim freedom and liberty, you must claim the responsibility to protect those things when threatened.
That is just my opinion, but those that worship the government don’t understand that “Big Brother” doesn’t really exist.
“Do you begin to see, then, what kind of world we are creating? It is the exact opposite of the stupid hedonistic Utopias that the old reformers imagined. A world of fear and treachery and torment, a world of trampling and being trampled upon, a world which will grow not less but more merciless as it refines itself. Progress in our world will be progress toward more pain.” George Orwell, 1984
“Never again will you be capable of ordinary human feeling. Everything will be dead inside you. Never again will you be capable of love, or friendship, or joy of living, or laughter, or curiosity, or courage, or integrity. You will be hollow. We shall squeeze you empty and then we shall fill you with ourselves.” George Orwell, 1984
What people am I grateful to have in my life today?
I am grateful to have such great family and friends. Van and Mike are great, Amber is amazing, Malik is creepy, Gabby is crazy.
I am disappointed in my father for not showing and not calling after he said he would do one or the other, but I am grateful that he is present with the ability to do so.
What opportunities am I grateful to have in my life today?
I am grateful for the opportunity to enjoy this day, get some rest, type my thoughts, and change my condition.
What experiences am I grateful to have in my life today?
I am grateful to God for the reminder that he gave me this morning via the Qur’an. That experience will guide my actions for the day.
I am grateful to see that the beard and hijab are actually things that fool a person to believe that they are pious, where in fact it is a sign that they are polytheist for the simple fact that they value the word of men and the eyes of others more than God’s judgment.
What Things am I grateful to have in my life today?
I am grateful for this job, though it is annoying to me to have to be here, because I have learned and done tons of things.
Peace be with you all and I see you,
